His early ambition was to become a transplant surgeon, but during his training at the University of Southern California, where he completed residencies in both General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Lee discovered the profound impact that plastic surgery could have on a person’s identity, self-esteem, and quality of life.
